The actuator, which is preferably designed as a slotted cylinder, is provided with at least one cylinder end cover 3, into which are integrated a shuttle valve 22, 23, 24, an adjustable bleed throttle and an adjustable end-position throttle. Situated in the cylinder end cover 3, directly downstream of the compressed air supply to the inlet opening 10 is a nonreturn valve 17, 19 which prevents unforeseen and dangerous movements of the actuator if the compressed air supply fails. To allow risk-free disassembly of the actuator, a separate bleed, closable by means of a closure screw 59, via a bleed channel 56 is provided for the pressurisation space 2 of the actuator. The control cap 36 can be flanged onto the cylinder end cover 3 in various rotational positions, allowing the pilot control valve 48 to be rotated into a favourable position corresponding to the particular circumstances. <IMAGE>

Der vorzugsweise als Schlitzzylinder ausgebildete Betätigungszylinder ist mit wenigstens einem Zylinderdeckel 3 versehen, in welchen integriert sich ein Wechselventil 22,23,24, eine justierbare Entlüftungsdrosselung und eine justierbare Endlagendrosselung befinden. Der Druckluftzuführung zur Eingangsöffnung 10 ist im Zylinderdeckel 3 unmittelbar ein Rückschlagventil 17,19 nachgeschaltet, durch welches bei Druckluftausfall unvorhergesehene und gefahrträchtige Bewegungen des Betätigungszylinders verhindert werden. Zur gefahrlosen Demontage des Betätigungszylinders ist eine durch eine Verschlußschraube 59 verschließbare, gesonderte Entlüftung durch einen Entlüftungskanal 56 für den Beaufschlagungsraum 2 des Betätigungszylinders vorgesehen. Der Steuerdeckel 36 kann in unterschiedlichen Drehlagen an den Zylinderdeckel 3 anflanschbar sein, wodurch das Vorsteuerventil 48 in eine den jeweiligen Umständen entsprechende, günstige Lage drehbar ist. <IMAGE>
