Self-closing valve, especially for an aerosol container, comprising a rod (2) mounted slidably in a valve body (3) divided into two chambers (A) and (B) by a seal (6) which can slide on the rod (2) between a stop (21) and a position permitting communication between the chambers (A) and (B), under the influence of the pressure in the container, when the said pressure exerts, on the seal (6), an antagonistic force greater than that exerted by a spring (11) on this seal (6). <IMAGE>
