Abstract (en)
The metal box, especially for the packaging of foodstuffs, comprises a container (1) which comprises a base (2) and a lid (3) mounted in a leaktight manner on that edge (4) of the container opposite the base (2). The base (2) of the container (1) and/or its lid (3) has an opening (7) into which a plate (8) made from transparent material is fitted in a leaktight manner.
