Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a light-barrier system for monitoring rovings on textile machines. According to the invention, two different light barriers (4, 5) are used for monitoring a roving (3) on the flier. One light barrier (5) monitors the presence of the roving (3), whilst the other (4) reacts to the fall-through of the roving (3). All types of roving breaks in the region of the drawing unit, up to and including the roving winding, are thus detected. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Lichtschrankensystem zur Luntenüberwachung für Textilmaschinen. Erfindungsgemäß werden zur Überwachung einer Lunte (3) am Flyer zwei unterschiedliche Lichtschranken (4, 5) benutzt. Dabei überwacht die eine Lichtschranke (5) das Vorhandensein der Lunte (3), während die andere (4) auf Durchfall der Lunte (3) reagiert. Damit werden alle Luntenbrucharten im Bereich Streckwerk bis einschließlich Luntenaufwindung erfaßt. <IMAGE>
