Abstract (en)

The present invention relates to a chronograph watch equipped with a device for controlling the three functions of running, stopping and resetting to zero. <??>The aim of the invention is to make a more judicious distribution of the elements of the mechanism of the chronograph over the entire surface of the watch. <??>This aim is achieved with the aid of a watch characterised in that it comprises a running and stopping cam (48) and a resetting-to-zero cam (49), these two cams consisting of superposed concentric rings disposed at the periphery of the watch movement, in that these two cams (48, 49) have, respectively, on their outer periphery ratchet (catch) teeth (97) or notches (98a, 98b) on which two rockers (100, 101) act in order to drive these cams (48, 49) in rotation, and on their inner periphery teeth (96) or notches (99) acting on levers controlling the gears (gearing) constituting the mechanism of the chronograph. <IMAGE>
