The seal contains a flat lower magnetic bar (14) in a threshold (10) and a profiled upper magnetic bar (20) which is received in the manner of a piston vertically movably by a rectangular channel profile (25). The two magnetic bars have one pole on the door-opening side and the other pole on the door-closing side, but in an opposite arrangement, so that, during the closing of the door, the upper magnetic bar is drawn downwards by the attraction and sits down, whereas, during the commencing opening movement, it is repelled upwards. In the upper position, it is held against a sheet-steel strip (28) by means of the rearward magnetic attraction. The forwardly directed magnetic force predominates over that directed rearwards. The seal can be used irrespective of the particular position, that is to say both on the floor and on the side (door frame). <IMAGE>

Die Dichtung enthält einen flachen unteren Magnetstab (14) in einer Schwelle (10) und einen profilierten oberen Magnetstab (20), der nach Art eines Kolbens lotrecht beweglich von einem rechteckigen Rinnenprofil (25) aufgenommen ist. Beide Magnetstäbe haben den einen Pol an der Türöffnungsseite, den anderen Pol an der Türschlußseite, jedoch in umgekehrter Anordnung, so daß beim Schließen der Tür der obere Magnetstab durch die Anziehung heruntergezogen wird und aufsitzt, während er im Zuge der einsetzenden Öffnungsbewegung nach oben abgestoßen wird. In der oberen Stellung wird er durch die rückwärtige magnetische Anziehung an einem Stahlblechstreifen (28) gehalten. Die nach vorne gerichtete Magnetkraft überwiegt die nach hinten gerichtete. Die Dichtung kann unabhängig von der Lage, also sowohl am Fußboden als auch an der Seite (Türzarge) eingesetzt werden. <IMAGE>
