[origin: US5163563A] The present invention relates to an apparatus for sorting elongate produce comprising a drum constituted by longitudinal grids, stationary and movable bars of which are mounted transversally to the longitudinal axis of the drum, the movable bars of each grid being kept in a fixed position one with respect to the other at constant and identical distances through a frame which is able to be moved relative to the stationary bars in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the drum.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de triage de produits allongés.Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un tambour (1) formé par des grilles longitudinales (8), dont les barreaux fixes (9) et mobiles (10) sont disposés transversalement à l'axe longitudinal (X-X′) du tambour (1), les barreaux mobiles (10) de chaque grille (8) étant maintenus en position fixe les uns par rapport aux autres à des distances constantes identiques par un châssis (17) pouvant être déplacé relativement aux barreaux fixes (9) suivant une direction parallèle à l'axe (X-X′).L'invention trouve application notamment pour le triage d'haricots verts.
