Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH05111662A] PURPOSE: To enable a dispensing apparatus to selectively use cartridges of different kinds without changing holders, and to form a dispensing apparatus so as to exactly align the centers thereof at this time. CONSTITUTION: The dispensing apparatus has the two storage cylinders 21 and 22 which are arranged to line up axially parallel with each other and a mouth portion 23 for coupling these cylinders. The apparatus has the holders 12 and 13 having two longitudinally movable plungers and a guide for the cartridge mouth part for interchangeably accepting the cartridges. The range of the holders is provided with a detention means 33 adapted to align cartridge cylinders to the axes of the plungers in order to selectively accept the kinds of the two different cartridges having the different diameter ratios of the cylinders 21 and 22. This detection means 33 has grippers 31 and 32 which are installed respectively to the plungers and are dimensioned for different cylinder diameters.
