Support orthodontique présentant une couche de fixation comportant un adhésif du type à polymérisation (4) formé au dos d'un corps principal de support (3) composé d'un matériau transmettant la lumière. On décrit également un kit de support, permettant d'entreposer le support dans un récipient (2) l'abritant de la lumière et de fermer hermétiquement la surface supérieure du récipient à l'aide d'un joint (1) composé d'un stratifié d'aluminium, afin de bloquer les rayons lumineux. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé de fixation, consistant à appliquer un revêtement composé d'une solution d'un mélange monomère polymérisable sur la surface d'une dent traitée au préalable à l'acide, à mettre en contact par pression avec la surface de la dent un support orthodontique comportant une couche adhésive composée d'un adhésif photopolymérisable, et à soumettre enfin le support à une irradiation par les rayons lumineux.
