Between the takeover surface 20 and the lower transport roller 12, a gap 24 is provided. The lower transport roller 12 consists of a number of disk-shaped roller elements 13 which are arranged axially at a distance to one another and between which in each case transfer elements 28 are arranged, which can be moved between a transfer position covering the gap 24 and a separating position exposing the gap 24. Moreover, a deflector 30 is provided, which can be moved between a rest position above the takeover surface 20 and a separating position, in which it engages partially in the gap 24.
