[origin: EP0452714A1] The invention relates to an interlocking device for mechanical switch-on blocking of one of two electromagnetic switching devices (12), which are arranged side-by-side, as long as the other switching device is in its switched-on position, the moving parts of the switching devices being capable of being coupled to blocking elements (4), preferably slides, emerging from the interlocking device. The moving parts of the switching devices are in this case the coupling parts for auxiliary switches which can be placed on the switching device, and the slides are matched to these coupling parts (10). In consequence, it is possible to fit an interlocking device for two electromagnetic switching devices which are arranged side-by-side instead of or as well as auxiliary switch blocks. <IMAGE>
