Here, solids in the liquids in the measuring devices can lead to blockages and/or contaminations. Furthermore, the measuring devices can only be cleaned with difficulty. In order to be able to monitor the throughput of the active substance fluid through the discharge line in a simple manner over a relatively long period of time without there being a risk of blockages, the liquid level (18) in the active substance tank (1) can be controlled by at least one monitoring element. When the liquid level (18) drops below a predetermined level, a sound signal is transmitted to a rinsing device (15, 16, 17) for automatically rinsing at least a part of the discharge line (3).
