[origin: EP0450662A1] Machine incorporates a continuous conveyor (17) in the form of a vertical conveyor belt, a steel belt in partic. Tube pivots (13) are mounted on the conveyor belt for full and/or empty tubes, which must assume an exact position on the continuous conveyor to be aligned with a spinning station for a smooth package tube transfer. Each tube pivot is fastened on the conveyor and can be adjusted in the conveying direction via a driver (19). The tube pivots can be located on pivot carriages (18) shifted via the driver or they can be mounted directly on the driver.
