Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a make-up compact of the type comprising a base (1) and a lid (2) articulated on the said base (1), as well as a device for locking the lid (2) with the base (1). The compact according to the invention is characterised in that the said locking device consists of a component comprising a body (4) housed in a fixed and permanent manner in a blind hole in the lid (2) or in the base (1), the said body (4) being equipped with an elastically deformable exterior extension equipped with a groove ending in a snout with bevelled edges, the said snout interacting with a groove (11) in the base (1) or in the lid (2), respectively, the said groove (11) in the base (1) or in the lid (2) having a width greater than the thickness of the said snout and being adjacent to a bevelled (13, 14) lip (12) interacting with the bevelled edges of the said snout on opening and closing of the lid (2).
