Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a method of making metallic motifs in relief on an enamelled and polished surface. Method, characterised in that it consists basically in obtaining, firstly, a baseplate (1) to be treated, in placing metallic motifs (2) in relief on the baseplate (1), in then covering said baseplate (1) and the relief motifs (2) with at least one coat (3) of stove enamel and with at least one coat (4) of polishing enamel in succession, in next mechanically shaving the surface of the baseplate (1) until a flat surface (5) is obtained flush with the metallic motifs (2), in polishing the resulting flat surface (5) and, lastly, in electrolytically depositing a coat of a predetermined metal (6) upon the flush metallic motifs (2). <IMAGE>
