Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a barrel for transporting liquid and powdery materials, and a method of manufacturing the said barrel. This barrel comprises annular sections (2) in the form of bulging small barrels (5), and is particularly adapted for hot filling, a method which is used in the field of packaging. The hoop (1) is constituted from expansion cold-hammered steel.
