[origin: EP0453774A2] In a solenoid actuator, especially for controlling an electrical starter for internal-combustion engines, having an axially displaceable armature, which is arranged on an electrical winding and operates a moving contact link, the contact link resting in the quiescent position on an intermediate wall of the housing of the solenoid actuator under the influence of spring pretensioning and, in the operating position, being capable of being placed against two contacts which are provided in an adjacent cover, in order to prevent relative movements of the contact link in the event of vibrations, excited by the internal-combustion engine, on the contact link and/or on the intermediate wall, projections and/or recesses are provided which result in an additional inclination/oblique position and/or positively-locking fixing of the contact link in its quiescent position. <IMAGE>
