Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0453869A1] A turning-bar arrangement for running strips of web one above another, which are formed by longitudinal cutting of a web printed in a web-fed printing machine, has turning bars (1, 2) which are arranged one above another and can be turned over by 90 DEG . The turning bars (1, 2) are provided, in the centre of the side wrapped around by the strip of web, with outlet openings for blast air. <??>In order to ensure that, after turning over of the turning bars (1, 2) by 90 DEG , the outlet openings for blast air are situated on the side wrapped around by the strip of web, web guiding means (29, 31) are provided for the alternative guiding of the strip of web (33) to be put onto the strip of web (32), already running through, to the upper side of one (2) or underside of the other turning bar (1). <??>For the same reason, in the case of a floating mounting of the turning bars (1, 2) about a pivoting axis (48) in each case, the pivtoing axes are mounted height-adjustably in opposite directions for the alternative run-on of the arriving strip of web to be turned over to one or the other turning bar. <IMAGE>
