Abstract (en)
The present invention provides an electrophotographic toner containing, as a fixing resin, a styrene-acrylic copolymer having a specific molecular-weight distribution and, as a coloring agent, carbon black having dibutyl phthalate oil absorption of not less than 80ml/100g, the toner presenting relaxation time of 10 to 50 ms at frequency of 100 kHz. The electrophotographic toner restrains the occurrence of defective fixing and off-set, and may be properly applied to a high-speed copying apparatus and a copying apparatus having a fixing unit so adapted as to consume less electric power. <IMAGE>
