Centrifugal dryer with horizontal drive shaft (7) and inner filling pipe and a drum floor driven in rotation, from which a cylindrical drum casing (32) and the tapering end of an inner metal filter cone (36) start, the conical annular space between casing and filter cone being separated by axial web walls (40) into pressure chambers (42), each of which contains in the drum floor a diffuser orifice (44), which orifices are assigned in the fixed rear wall (45) of the centrifuge housing an upper and a lower pressure gas nozzle (47) for feeding intermittently controlled blasts of pressure gas and having an axially movable baffle plate (52) which is driven in rotation, closes off the filter cone or adjusts an outlet gap in such a way that the centrifuged material passes, under centrifugal force, along the filter cone in a controlled layer thickness and through the outlet gap into an annular channel surrounding the open end of the cone, from which channel it is transported away with blades (11) attached to the circumference of the drum and/or conveying gas which is blown in. <IMAGE>

Zentrifugentrockner mit waagerechter Antriebswelle (7) und innerem Füllrohr und einem mitdrehenden Trommelboden, von dem ein zylindrischer Trommelmantel (32) und das verjüngte Ende eines inneren Metallfilterkonus (36) ausgehen, wobei der konische Ringraum zwischen Mantel und Filterkonus durch axiale Stegwände (40) in Druckkammern (42) unterteilt ist, von denen jede im Trommelboden eine Diffusoröffnung (44) enthält, denen in der feststehenden Rückwand (45) des Zentrifugengehäuses eine obere und eine untere Druckgasdüse (47) zur Zuführung intermittierend gesteuerter Druckgasstöße zugeordnet ist, und mit einer axial beweglichen mitdrehenden Stauscheibe (52), die den Filterkonus verschließt oder einen Austrittsspalt einstellt, so daß das Zentrifugiergut durch Fliehkraft entlang dem Filterkonus in gesteuerter Schichtdicke durch den Austrittsspalt in einen das offene Konusende umgegebenden Ringkanal gelangt, aus dem es mit am Trommelumfang befestigten Schaufeln (11) und/oder eingeblasenem Fördergas abtransportiert wird. <IMAGE>
