Abstract (en)
This invention pertains to a reclosable package having a body member (22), a base member (12) having a pedestal, a hermetic seal between the body member and the base member and snap locking structures in the respective sidewalls of the body member and base member. Opposing pairs of snap locking indents/detents (34, 46; 36, 48) are provided on a sidewall (20; 30) of the base pedestal and on an opposing sidewall (40; 44) of a moat-like portion of a tongue-and-groove structure provided in peripheral portions of the body member and base member. <IMAGE>
