L'invention concerne un système de commande de mise à feu avec retards programmables pour projectile comportant au moins une charge militaire.Ce système comprend, dans un projectile P portant des charges explosives 2, 4 avec leur dispositif de mise à feu 3, 5, des détecteurs d'impact 1, une centrale inertielle 6 et un calculateur 7. Le calculateur 7 détermine, à partir des signaux des détecteurs 1, l'instant d'impact To et l'angle d'incidence I du projectile sur la cible et, à partir des signaux de la centrale inertielle 6, la vitesse V du projectile au moment de l'impact. A partir des données V, I et du type de cible C, le calculateur 7 détermine, en temps réel, le retard optimal par rapport à l'instant To pour la mise à feu de chaque charge et applique ce retard à l'ordre de mise à feu.L'invention s'applique à tout type de projectile à une ou plusieurs charges en ligne.
