Abstract (en)
The blower bank thus constituted by blower elements makes it possible to keep under ultra-clean atmosphere the flat surfaces of objects during their transportation, even when using a low flow rate of air. <??>The blower elements are constituted mainly of a plate 2 having a central orifice 6. Facing the latter is mounted a duct 4 supplied with ultra-clean air. <??>The method consists in placing the surface (11) of the objects (10) at a distance (d) of the order of a millimetre from the blower surface (7). The flow of air between these two surfaces is easily adjusted so as to be laminar and thus ensure protection against ambient particle contamination. <??>Application to the transportation of silicon slices. <IMAGE>
