Abstract (en)
Roadway slab for a bridge, especially a large span bridge, comprising a continuous horizontal plate (4) on which are fixed horizontal metallic girders (7) which are continuous in at least one direction, for example the longitudinal direction, and which form an expendable formwork for a concrete slab (6) in which the said beams are at least partially embedded. The beams (7) serve to stiffen the plate (4) before pouring of the concrete and then to join the concrete (6) to the plate (4). <IMAGE>
