Abstract (en)
The machine according to the invention serves to deform a plate into a cylindrical hollow body. The machine concerned is a three-roll machine in which the rolls are supported by pairs (13, 14; 17, 18; 20, 21) of back-up rollers distributed along their length. These pairs of back-up rollers are each mounted in a C-shaped housing (1), each of which takes up the forces which arise during the deformation of a workpiece, so that none of the rolls is bent since each is prevented at several points from deflecting radially, i.e. bending, by the back-up rollers which are arranged in the C-shaped housings and transmit the forces to the housings. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die erfindungsgemässe Maschine dient dazu, eine Platte zu einem zylindrischen Hohlkörper zu verformen. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Drei-Walzen Maschine, bei welcher die Walzen durch auf ihrer Länge verteilt angeordnete Stützrollenpaare (13, 14; 17, 18; 20, 21) abgestützt sind. Diese Stützrollenpaare sind jeweilen in einem C-förmigen Ständer (1) gelagert, von welchem jeder die beim Verformen eines Werkstückes auftretenden Kräfte aufnimmt, so dass keine der Walzen durchgebogen wird, da jede an mehreren Stellen durch die in den C-förmigen Ständern angeordneten und die Kräfte auf die Ständer übertragenden Stützrollen am radialen Ausweichen, also am sich-Durchbiegen gehindert wird. <IMAGE>
