Abstract (en)
The means is formed by a frame-like template having at least four frame pieces (1, 2, 3, 4) which are freely adjustable and can be fixed in any position. In this arrangement, the frame pieces can consist of a plurality of parts (5/6, 7/8), so that their length can be altered. On the stairs, the template is given the shape of the step to be covered; the covering material can then be cut at the work place with the aid of the template, which is considerably simpler than using cutouts made of paper. <IMAGE>

Das Hilfsmittel wird durch eine rahmenartige Lehre mit mindestens vier frei verstellbaren und in jeder Stellung fixierbaren Rahmenschenkeln (1, 2, 3, 4) gebildet. Die Rahmenschenkel können dabei aus mehrerer Teilen (5/6, 7/8) bestehen, so dass sich ihre Länge verändern lässt. Der Lehre wird auf der Treppe die Form der zu belegenden Stufe gegeben; dann kann mit ihr am Arbeitsplatz das Belagsmaterial geschnitten werden, was wesentlich einfacher ist als die Verwendung von aus Papier bestehenden Ausschnitten. <IMAGE>
