Bei einem Ski (1) mit einem Dämpfungselement (5) zur Dämpfung von quer zur Skilängsrichtung im Bereich einer Skibindung wirkenden Stößen, mit einem Tragkörper (3) für wenigstens eine zwischen dem Tragkörper (3) und dem Ski (1) angeordnete Schicht aus Dämpfungsmaterial (5), insbesondere elastomerem Dämpfungsmaterial, ist der Tragkörper (3) in einem mittleren zwischen seinem in Skilängsrichtung liegenden Vorder- und Hinterende liegenden Bereich (4) unmittelbar starr mit dem Obergurt (7) des Skis verbunden und vor und hinter dem mittleren Bereich (4) unter Zwischenschaltung des Dämpfungsmaterials (5) an die Oberseite des Skis (1) angeschlossen <IMAGE>
