Die Erfindung betrifft ein Einsteckschloß, insbesondere Treibstangenschloß mit schließzylinder- und drückernußbetätigbarer Falle und Riegel sowie Beschlagschrauben-Durchtrittslöchern im Schloßgehäuse und schlägt zur Erzielung einer insbesondere bautechnisch vorteilhaften Lösung vor, daß das Schloßgehäuse (2) in seinem rückwärtigen Eckbereich eine Ausbuchtung (106) aufweist, deren in Stulprichtung liegende Tiefe über die Verlängerung der Verbindungslinie (L) von Nuß (97) und Beschlagschrauben-Durchtrittsloch (100) reicht. <IMAGE>
