Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Vertikalformer mit einem vertikal verlaufenden Doppelsieb (DS). Im Formationsabschnitt (12) sind wechselseitig einander gegenüberliegend verschiedene Formierelemente (18,19,20,21) angeordnet, um eine verbesserte Formation in Verbindung mit einer verbesserten Bahnfestigkeit und insbesondere eine gleichmäßigere Bahnstruktur zu erzielen. <IMAGE>
