A pipetting device has a housing, at the upper end of which there projects an activation element which can be pressed in counter to a spring action. This activation element is connected by means of a rod system to a piston which can be moved in a cylinder in order to move an air volume. The cylinder communicates with an opening of a connection piece, in particular a connection cone, for attachable pipette teats which are open at the top and bottom. The piston 10 is designed as a hollow piston with an outer tubular skirt 23, which is held on an inner support 9 which is made especially of plastic and which is in communication with the activation element. Eine Pipettiervorrichtung hat ein Gehäuse, an dessen oberem Ende ein gegen Federwirkung eindrückbares Betätigungselement herausragt. Dieses ist mit einem in einem Zylinder bewegbaren Kolben durch ein Gestänge verbunden, um ein Luftvolumen zu bewegen. Der Zylinder steht mit einer Öffnung eines Verbindungsansatzes, insbesondere Verbindungskonusses, für aufsteckbare oben und unten offene Pipettierspitzen in Verbindung. Der Kolben 10 ist als Hohlkolben mit einem äußeren rohrförmigen Mantel 23 ausgeführt, der an einem inneren Träger 9, insbesondere aus Kunststoff, gehalten ist, welcher mit dem Betätigungselement in Verbindung steht. Mäntel 23 aus verschiedenen Materialien können auswechselbar vorgesehen sein. <IMAGE>
