Abstract (en)
For the purpose of fixing an offset printing plate (P) to the plate cylinder (Pp), the plate (P) is provided at each end with a bent part (2, 3) intended to engage with a wall (11, 12) of a groove (10) in the cylinder (Pp). The distance along the plate (P) between the two bending lines (20, 30) of the bent parts (2, 3) is less than the distance which, in the direction of rolling of the plate (P) on the cylinder (Pp), separates the two walls (11, 12) of the groove (10). In order to make it possible to fix the plate (P) onto the cylinder (Pp), the plate (P) is subjected, during its fitting, to a thermal expansion (4, 40) <IMAGE>
