Abstract (en)

In a plant for electrostatically coating workpieces with electrically conductive coating material, a device (4) which is connected to a coating apparatus and has a high voltage applied to it is supplied by a continuously earthed supply system (1) via a pivotable intermediate container (7). The intermediate container (7) is pivoted between a first position in which it is fed the coating material and in a second position in which its contents are electrically insulated from the supply system (1) and the coating material is discharged into the coating apparatus. <IMAGE>

In einer Anlage zum elektrostatischen Beschichten von Werkstücken mit elektrisch leitfähigem Beschichtungsmaterial wird eine mit einer Beschichtungsvorrichtung verbundene, auf Hochspannung gelegte Einrichtung (4) von einem ständig geerdeten Versorgungssystem (1) über einen schwenkbaren Zwischenbehälter (7) versorgt. Der Zwischenbehälter (7) wird zwischen einer ersten Position, in der ihm das Beschichtungsmaterial zugeführt wird, und einer zweiten Position verschwenkt, in der sein Inhalt elektrisch vom Versorgungssystem (1) isoliert ist und das Beschichtungsmaterial zur Beschichtungsvorrichtung abgegeben wird. <IMAGE>
