[origin: EP0455318A2] Lighting unit having more than two small incandescent lamps connected in series, which are mounted inside a transparent tube on at least one lamp holder, the lamp holder being constructed to accommodate power supply leads and the power supply leads are supported leading to the terminals at the ends of the tube. In this arrangement, a concavely shaped reflector (17) having a focal point is integrally formed in each case on each small incandescent lamp (18).
