In a device (1) for gas flushing of a metallurgical vessel, it should be possible to match the effective cross-section of passage for the gas to different desired gas flow rates. For this purpose, the gas-permeable region of the device (1) for gas flushing is divided into at least two gas-permeable subregions (3, 4). Each of the subregions (3, 4) is connected at the underside (5) of the device (1) for gas flushing to its own gas connection (10, 12; 11, 13) and extends as far as the top side (6) of the device (1) for gas flushing. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Gasspüler (1) für ein metallurgisches Gefäß soll der wirksame Gasdurchlaßquerschnitt an verschiedene gewünschte Gasdurchtrittsmengen anpaßbar sein. Hierfür ist der gasdurchlässige Bereich des Gasspülers (1) in wenigstens zwei gasdurchlässige Teilbereiche (3, 4) aufgeteilt. Jeder der Teilbereiche (3, 4) ist an der Unterseite (5) des Gasspülers (1) mit einem eigenen Gasanschluß (10, 12; 11, 13) verbunden und reicht bis an die Oberseite (6) des Gasspülers (1). <IMAGE>
