Abstract (en)
Section strengthening core comprising a multiplicity of elements forming a repetitive design of "gaps" and "filled areas" along its longitudinal direction (XX) and in which the "gaps" are formed by slots whose sides run approximately perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the core. The "gaps" (vi) have "finger"-like tips (4) that are narrower (f) than the rest (E) of the slots. Such a strengthening core is particularly appropriate to the manufacture of seals for use in the automotive industry. <IMAGE>
