The device has a spinning rotor 12 and a driven guide 4 in the shape of a ring, tube or the like, engaging coaxially into the spinning rotor 12, and whose inner surface 10 serves to deposit the fibres supplied and their transfer to the spinning rotor 12. Continuous holes 27 are provided in the bottom of the spinning rotor 12, by means of which interior spaces of the spinning rotor 12 and of the guide 4 are in communication with a first suction device 23. In order to extend the assortment of production also to worsted yarn types, the spinning rotor 12 and the guide 4 are surrounded, in the area of an intermediate gap 28 at least on one part of their outer circumference, corresponding to an intermediate section U of the path of movement S of the fibres 7 between the inner surface 10 of guide 4 and the inner surface l3 of the spinning rotor 4, by an air box which is open in relation to the intermediate gap 28 and connected to a second suction device 41. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Vorrichtung weist einen Spinnrotor 12 und einen angetriebenen Führungskörper 4 in Form eines Ringes, Rohres od. dgl. auf, der in den Spinnrotor 12 koaxial eingreift und dessen Innenwand 10 zum Ablagern der zugeführten Fasern und deren Übergabe dem Spinnrotor 12 dient. Im Boden des Spinnrotors 12 sind durchlaufende Löcher 27 vorgesehen, mittels welcher Innenräume des Spinnrotors 12 und des Führungskörpers 4 mit einem ersten Saugmittel 23 in Verbindung stehen. Um das Sortiment der Produktion auch auf Kammgarnsorten zu erweitern, sind der Spinnrotor 12 und der Führungskörper 4 im Bereich eines Zwischenspalts 28 mindestens an einem Teil ihres äußeren Umfangs, der einem Zwischenabschnitt U der Bewegungsbahn S der Fasern 7 zwischen der Innenwand 10 des Führungskörpers 4 und der Innenwand 13 des Spinnrotors 4 entspricht, mit einem Luftkasten 32 umgeben, der gegenüber dem Zwischenspalt 28 geöffnet ist und an ein zweites Saugmittel 41 angeschlossen ist. <IMAGE>
