In the high-pressure discharge lamp, having a power less than or equal to 400 W, and having a metal-halide filling, especially of sodium and tin, each of the two electrodes (4, 5) consists of an electrode pin (17) and an electrode head (19) mounted thereon. The electrode head (19) has an essentially cylindrical or truncated- conical external contour and a mass M in mg, whose maximum and minimum permissible value is given by the formula M = iL x (23 +/- 8). The electrode pin (17) has a diameter d in mm, whose maximum and minimum value is determined by the formula d = 2ROOT 0.083 x iL +/- 0.02, iL being the root-mean-square value of the lamp current in A. In addition, the tip of the electrode pin (17) supporting the electrode head (19) extends at most up to the end of the electrode head (19) facing the discharge arc. The electrode erosion and the flicker factor can be kept small as a result of the electrode shape. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei der Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einer Leistung kleiner gleich 400 W und mit einer Metallhalogenidfüllung, insbesondere von Natrium und Zinn, besteht jede der beiden Elektroden (4, 5) aus einem Elektrodenstift (17) und einem darauf befestigten Elektrodenkopf (19). Der Elektrodenkopf (19) hat eine im wesentlichen zylindrische oder kegelstumpfförmige Außenkontur und eine Masse M in mg, deren maximal und minimal zulässiger Wert durch die Formel M = iL x (23 ± 8) gegeben ist. Der Elektrodenstift (17) besitzt einen Durchmesser d in mm, dessen Maximal- bzw. Minimalwert durch die Formel d = √0,083 x iL ± 0,02 bestimmt ist, wobei iL der Effektivwert des Lampenstroms in A ist. Außerdem reicht die den Elektrodenkopf (19) tragende Spitze des Elektrodenstiftes (17) höchstens bis zu dem dem Entladungsbogen zugewandten Ende des Elektrodenkopfes (19). Durch die Elektrodenform kann der Elektrodenabbrand und der Flickerfaktor klein gehalten werden. <IMAGE>
