Abstract (en)
The apparatus (1) serves for separating products (59, 60) which together, via at least one predetermined breaking point (63), form a composite article (58), in a continuous process. In this connection, each product (59, 60) has its own guide means (43, 44). At the charging point, the guide means (43, 44) correspond to the cross-sectional shape of the composite article (58). During the subsequent continuous forward movement of the composite article (58), the products (59, 60) move steadily relative to one another, keeping constant their mutual separation transverse to the forward movement, at least until these products (59, 60) separate from one another at the predetermined breaking points (63). This apparatus for separating, in particular for separating split plain tiles and split tiles, results in a break which is accurately locally determined on the products, with low energy consumption, in particular in the context of the advance movement energy of the products. It works with great safety and economy and moreover with most simple means. It can also be adapted to practically any possible shape of such composite articles. <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung (1) dient dem Bruchtrennen von über mindestens eine Sollbruchstelle (63) miteinander einen Elementverbund (58) bildenden Elementen (59, 60) im kontinuierlichen Durchlaufverfahren. Dabei weist jedes Element (59, 60) seine eigenen Führungsmittel (43, 44) auf. An der Aufgabestelle entsprechen die Führungsmittel (43, 44) der Querschnittsform des Elementverbundes (58). Während der anschliessenden kontinuierlichen Vorwärtsbewegung des Elementverbundes (58) bewegen sich die Elemente (59, 60) relativ zueinander mindestens so lange unter Konstanthaltung ihres gegenseitigen Abstandes quer zur Vorwärtsbewegung stetig, bis diese Elemente (59, 60) sich an den Sollbruchstellen (63) voneinander trennen. Diese Vorrichtung zum Bruchtrennen, insbesondere zum Bruchtrennen von Spaltbibern und Spaltplatten, hat bei geringer aufzuwendender Energie, insbesondere im Rahmen der Fortbewegungsenergie der Elemente, einen an den Elementen örtlich genau festgelegten Bruch zur Folge. Sie arbeitet mit grosser Sicherheit und Wirtschaftlichkeit und zudem mit einfachsten Mitteln. Auch kann sie praktisch jeder in Frage kommenden Form derartiger Elementverbunde angepasst werden. <IMAGE>
