Abstract (en)
The invention concerns an articulated stepladder composed of a ladder (1), a prop (3) articulated to the ladder (1) and a foldable platform (10) connected to the ladder (1) and to the prop (3) by articulations (12, 41, 42). All of the articulations (12, 41, 42) are arranged in such a way as to allow their dismantling and the replacement of worn parts. The articulation (5) of each upright (4) of the prop (3) on the corresponding upright (2) of the ladder comprises a moulded part (14) having a spindle (16) which pivots in a bearing (26) with a non-circular external profile, engaged in a hole in the upright. The platform (10) is connected to a cross-piece (9) of the prop (3) by means of a connecting rod (40) encircling a removable bearing (45) adjusted on the cross-piece. <IMAGE>
