[origin: EP0457754A2] Points mechanism, in which the points blades are fixed in the limit positions by means of monitoring rods, and the power transmission from the drive unit to the connecting rods (1) takes place by means of a roller (3) which engages in a frictionally locking manner in a recess (2), the roller being guided in a housing (4) arranged slidably on the connecting rods and being pressed into the recess by a locking bolt. The locking bolt (5) is locked at its end facing away from the roller (3) by means of a rigid locking device (8 and 9) fixed to the housing (4), which device contains a threaded plate (9) which can be screwed into the housing (4) and has a bore (13) which is concentric with respect to the bolt (5) and whose diameter is larger than the external diameter of the bolt (5), and a shearing disc (8) which is clamped in between the bolt (5) and the threaded plate (9) and has predetermined resistance to fracture. <IMAGE>
