[origin: WO9108687A1] The machine uses two pairs of lasting rollers (386, 392), one pair being arranged at each side of the shoe, one or both rollers of each pair being selectively caused to engage the lasting marginal portions of the shoe in any given lasting operation. To this end the two rollers of each pair are supported on a carrier (388) and motor means (394) is provided for effecting movement of the carrier about an axis extending in the plane of the axes of rotation of the rollers. The pressure applied to the shoe bottom by each roller can be set independently of each other roller. Preferably programme-controlled means is provided for controlling the particular mode of operation.

Une machine utilise deux paires de rouleaux de mise sur la forme (386, 392), chaque paire étant agencée d'un côté du soulier. Un ou deux rouleaux de chaque paire engagent sélectivement les parties marginales à monter du soulier pendant la mise sur la forme. A cet effet, les deux rouleaux de chaque paire sont sontenus sur un support (388) et un moteur (394) entraîne le support autour d'un axe situé sur le plan des axes de rotation des rouleaux. La pression appliquée sur le fond du soulier par chaque rouleau peut être réglée indépendamment de tous les autres rouleaux. De préférence, un dispositif de commande programmée permet de commander chaque mode particulier de fonctionnement.
