Abstract (en)

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support, a blue-sensitive, a green-sensitive and a red-sensitive layers, and the maximum sensitive wavelength of the red-sensitive lambda Rmax, the sensitivity of the red-sensitive layer SRmax to light of lambda Rmax, the sensitivity of the red-sensitive layer SR610 to light of 610nm, the maximum sensitive wavelength of the green-sensitive layer lambda Gmax, the sensitivity of the green-sensitive layer SGmax to light of lambda Gmax, and the sensitivity of the green-sensitive emulsion layer SG545 to light of 545nm, satisfy the following requirements, provided that the SR610, SRmax, SG545 and SGmax are each determined based on a reciprocal of a ligh amount necessary for forming the optical density of 0.3 on the minimum density of the light-sensitive material after processing, 590nm </= lambda Rmax </= 625nm ; SR610 >/= 0.8 SRmax, 520nm </= lambda Gmax </= 570nm ; SG545 </= 0.8 SGmax, and at least one of layers included in the light-sensitive material contains a development inhibitor releasing coupler capable of releasing a development inhibitor or a development inhibitor precurser to form a development inhibitor. The development inhibiter split off from the coupler loses its development inhibiting ability at a rate of a half-life of not more than 4 hours in a color developer.
