[origin: EP0458732A1] Terminal parts (9,11) are soldered to printed-circuit boards (2,3) by means of connecting pins (8,10). In consequence, terminal supports (15,16) are also connected to the printed-circuit boards, and the terminal supports are for their part mechanically connected to one another such that the printed-circuit boards and the terminal supports represent a self-supporting unit. This unit is inserted into a housing (1). For production, the two printed-circuit boards are fitted with circuit elements and the terminal supports, as parts of a common printed-circuit board, and are then pushed into one another and are connected by means of the terminal supports. This results in economical production, which leads to a compact construction. <IMAGE>
