In a breathing protection mask having connecting apertures for filters and having a mask body, in order to make it possible to convert the breathing protection mask retrospectively to one or other configuration, provision is made for a connecting adapter (2) with connector sockets (4, 10) to be attachable in at least two preferred positions on the complete mask or half-mask (1), and for a predetermined number of connecting apertures (8, 9) and connecting sockets (4, 10) to mask each other in each preferred position, and for filters (3) in varying numbers to be attached at the masking points, and for the connecting apertures (8) which are not masked to be closed by sealing means (7) attached to the connecting adapter (2). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Atemschutzmaske mit Anschlußöffnungen für Filter und einem Maskenkörper ist, zur nachträglichen Umrüstung auf die eine oder andere Atemschutzmasken-Konfiguration, vorgesehen, daß ein Anschlußadapter (2) mit Anschlußstutzen (4, 10) in mindestens zwei Vorzugsstellungen an der Vollmaske oder der Halbmaske (1) befestigbar ist und daß sich in jeder Vorzugsstellung eine vorgegebene Anzahl von Anschlußöffnungen (8, 9) und Anschlußstutzen (4, 10) überdecken und daß an den Überdeckungsstellen Filter (3) in unterschiedlicher Anzahl anschließbar sind und die nicht in Überdeckung befindlichen Anschlußöffnungen (8) mit am Anschlußadapter (2) angebrachten Dichtmitteln (7) verschlossen sind. <IMAGE>
