Abstract (en)
A silver halide color photographic material sutable for making a color proof in photomechanical process is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler and a magneta coupler represented by Formula M-I and the silver halide emulsion layer or a layer adjecent to the emulsion layer contains a compound represented by Formula I: <CHEM> wherein Z is a group of atoms necessary forming a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring ; X is a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of being split off upon coupling reaction; and R is a hydrogen atom or a substituent: <CHEM> wherein R<1> and R<2> each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group or an alkylamido group, the alkyl group, alkoxy group, alkylthio group and alkylamido group each have 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R<3> is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 11 carbon atoms.
