2.1. The invention relates to an inductor or a transformer having a ferrite core, especially for pulsed power supply devices. It is intended to specifiy a ferrite core whose inductance behaviour can be varied in a simple and cost-effective manner such that the ferrite core has, in particular, the characteristics of a ferrite annular core with a stepped air gap. 2.2. It is proposed that the ferrite core (1) be constructed as a core having a plurality of holes, having at least one air gap (2), in particular a double-holed core. 2.3. 2.1. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drossel oder einen Transformator mit einem Ferritkern, insbesondere für getaktete Stromversorgungseinrichtungen. Es soll ein Ferritkern angegeben werden, dessen Induktivitätsverlauf auf einfache und kostengünstige Weise so veränderbar ist, daß der Ferritkern insbesondere die Eigenschaften eines Ferritringkerns mit Stufenluftspalt aufweist. 2.2. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Ferritkern (1) als mindestens einen Luftspalt (2) aufweisender Mehrfachlochkern, insbesondere als Doppellochkern, ausgebildet ist. 2.3.
