[origin: EP0459582A1] The pulley harness system for a Jacquard, where the warps can be positioned in three settings for the insertion of at least two wefts to weave double fabrics with a pile, has a set of complementary hooks working together for each pile point and two vertically-arranged pulleys each with vertically connected rotating rollers. Pulley cords are suspended below each set of complementary hooks from each hook. Each end of the pulley cord is secured to one of the hooks while its section hanging down passes over the upper roller of the pulley assembly. A second pulley cord is fixed to one hook to hang down lower than the pulley assembly to pass over the upper roller of the second pulley assembly and then pass back upwards over the lower roller of the first assembly and then back down to be bonded to a lower point at the Jacquard. A pulley cord passes over the lower roller of the lower pulley with one end bonded to a lower point at the Jacquard and its other end is connected to the harness for the warps.
