Abstract (en)

In order to bend a hollow profile strip (53), in particular a hollow profile strip (53) from which a spacer frame for a pane of insulating glass is to be manufactured, the hollow profile strip (53) is held continuously a precisely defined distance to the side and from below, passed under a roller (70) and, after the roller (70) is deflected out of the delivery direction. An apparatus suitable for this purpose has a gripper (52) for the defined advance of the hollow profile strip (53), a roller (70), which rests against the wall of the hollow profile strip (53), the said wall then being situated on the inside of the bend, and holds down the hollow profile strip (53), and a lever (59) with an impact surface (62) for the hollow profile strip (53) after the roller (70). The length and/or the radius of curvature of the bent section (71) of the hollow profile strip (53) can be determined by selection of the extent of the advance of the hollow profile strip (53) and the extent of the deflection of the same. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Um in einer Hohlprofilleiste (53), insbesondere eine Hohlprofilleiste (53), aus der ein Abstandhalterrahmen für eine Isolierglasscheibe herzustellen ist, zu krümmen, wird die Hohlprofilleiste (53) kontinuierlich ein genau definiertes Stück seitlich und von unten gehalten, unter einer Rolle (70) durchgeführt und im Anschluß an die Rolle (70) aus der Förderrichtung ausgelenkt. Eine hiezu geeignete Vorrichtung besitzt einen Greifer (52) zum definierten Vorschieben der Hohlprofilleiste (53), eine an der dann krümmungsinnenseitig liegenden Wand der Hohlprofilleiste (53) anliegende und die Hohlprofilleiste (53) niederhaltende Rolle (70) und einen Hebel (59) mit einer Auflauffläche (62) für die Hohlprofilleiste (53) im Anschluß an die Rolle (70) bildet. Durch Wahl des Ausmaßes des Vorschubes der Hohlprofilleiste (53) und durch das Ausmaß der Auslenkung derselben kann die Länge und/ oder der Krümmungsradius des gekrümmten Abschnittes (71) der Hohlprofilleiste (53) festgelegt werden. <IMAGE>
