The collecting chamber (3) for air has a closable outlet orifice for discharge of the transport air flow. A fibre transport device (18) is arranged at the lower end of the filling box (2). At least one outlet orifice (6) which can alternately and abruptly release and block the transport air flow (7) is arranged at the lower end of the collecting chamber for air.
