Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0460294A2] In the method provided for evaluating data from tabletting machines, the machine and production data of a machine are written on a portable storage medium (6) by the computer of an operating terminal (1) belonging to the tabletting machine (10). Using this storage medium, the data are then transferred to a separate computer system (7) for further evaluation. This makes it possible to simplify the documentation of production data, adjustment parameters and diagnoses and to simplify fault finding when operating disturbances occur. This applies, in particular, with the assumption that a multiplicity of tabletting machines are simultaneously used in a production plant since it is not necessary for an operator to have to make corresponding inputs in his or her operating desk for controlling a single machine, which presupposes the evaluation of the previously determined specific results. It is therefore specifically advantageous if the storage medium (6) is used for storing the product designation with the associated parameters and diagnostic reports and production reports and individual values of the samples and are transferred to a separate computer system for further evaluation. <IMAGE>
